We offer a 60-hour online training in clinical sexology and sex therapy for professionals looking to enhance their skills in addressing individual, couple, and LGBTQAI2S+ sexual issues. This program is ideal for mental health professionals, doctors, nurses, counselors, and others seeking specialized knowledge. Fee dependent on number of participants.
Program Outline:
- Introduction to Clinical Sexology – 5 hours
Overview of the field and its importance in clinical settings. - Biological Basis of Sexology – 10 hours (2 sessions of 5 hours each)
Understanding the biological aspects of sexual health and behavior. - Psychological Aspects of Sexology – 10 hours (2 sessions of 5 hours each)
Exploring psychological factors that impact sexual health and functioning. - Clinical Focus: Sexual Disorders – 10 hours (2 sessions of 5 hours each)
Clinical assessment of sexual disorders in men, women, and LGBTQAI2S+ individuals. - Clinical Focus: Interventions – 15 hours (3 sessions of 5 hours each)
Practical tools and techniques for individual and couple sex therapy. - Social and Cultural Aspects of Sex Therapy – 5 hours
Examining the social and cultural dimensions of sexual health and therapy. - Professional Ethics and Therapist Development – 5 hours
Ethical considerations and pathways for professional growth in the field of sexology.

- Duration: 12 sessions (60 hours total)
Held once a month, on Saturdays (5 hours per session). - Start Date: January 2025
Sessions will be conducted online and in English.
Training in Japanese is available upon request with a minimum of 10 participants. - Qualification:
Completion of this training qualifies participants for entry into the Sexology Group Supervision Program and provides clinical qualifications in clinical sexology.
