A few days ago, on August 30th, an article in The Japan Times about the life of immigrants in Japan through the eyes of psychotherapist has been published. I was interviewed and was offered an opportunity to talk about how the expats are coping and sometimes not coping, when living in a different culture, and how it translates into the reality of the therapeutic work. This is an article targeting broad audience. Please feel free to follow the link: Stressed expats need, but oft sidestep real help: therapist. Booze, drugs, sex used to treat culture shock, or to fit in.
